Korean American Summer Day Camp
July 2 to July 6, 2012
9am-1pm

Come join a week long camp for children ages 6-12 centered on learning Korean and Korean American history and culture through food, drumming, games, language, arts and crafts. The camp is open to any child interested in learning more about Korean and Korean American history and culture.

Designed by college students enrolled in "AAS 380 Koreans in America," each day is thematic and will focus on different periods of Korean and/or Korean American history including: Shilla Dynasty, Yi Dynasty, First and Second Wave of Korean Immigration, Third Wave of Korean Immigration and Contemporary Korea.   Each year's camp has different, unique and creative curriculum created by SFSU college students.


Registration is $185 and includes lunch each day. Camp does not meet on July 4, 2012.  Registration for Summer 2012 is now closed.
